scolding during a spanking?
Jack hardly ever scolds me, and out of those times, maybe once or twice has he even been serious about it. He does not scold during the spanking, and never EVER mentions the "misdeed" after the spanking is complete. If anything is said at all, he will mention it shortly before the spanking. I sort of wish that he would take issue with something, genuinely scold me for something. I am not sure if he is uncomfortable with controlling me? Has anyone had a similar experience and worked through it? How did you approach it? Is anyone involved with someone who does scold them during a spanking? Appreciate feedback :)

Scolding is a biggie for us. It's extremely important during real discipline. Even a playful spanking is benefited from some (playful) scolding though. But it is a skill, not something that just comes naturally. The best advice we could give is... a good scolding is simply firmly explaining the reason for the spanking, and thus that's the best place to start... try firmly explaining the reason for the spanking.
